For the purpose of this Part, the competent authority shall be:	Aux fins de la présente Partie M, l'autorité compétente doit être:
1. for the oversight of the continuing airworthiness of individual aircraft and the issue of airworthiness review certificates the authority designated by the Member State of registry.	1. pour le contrôle du maintien de la navigabilité des aéronefs particuliers et la délivrance des certificats d'examen de navigabilité, l'autorité nommée par l'État membre d'immatriculation;
2. for the oversight of a maintenance organisation as specified in M.A. Subpart F,	2. pour le contrôle d'un organisme de maintenance tel que spécifié dans la sous-partie F de la Partie-M.A,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State where that organisation's principle place of business is located.	i) l'autorité nommée par l'État membre où le principal établissement de l'organisme se situe;
(ii) the Agency if the organisation is located in a third country.	ii) l'Agence si l'organisme est situé dans un pays tiers;
3. for the oversight of a continuing airworthiness management organisation as specified in M.A. Subpart G,	3. pour le contrôle d'un organisme de gestion du maintien de la navigabilité tel que spécifié dans la sous-partie G de la Partie-M.A,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State where that organisation's principle place of business is located if the approval is not included in an air operator's certificate.	i) l'autorité nommée par l'État membre où le principal établissement de l'organisme se situe si l'agrément n'est pas inclus dans un certificat de transporteur aérien;
(ii) the authority designated by the Member State of the operator if the approval is included in an air operator's certificate.	ii) l'autorité nommée par l'État membre de l'exploitant si l'agrément est inclus dans un certificat de transporteur aérien;
(iii) the Agency if the organisation is located in a third country.	iii) l'Agence si l'organisme est situé dans un pays tiers;
4. for the approval of maintenance programmes,	4. pour l'agrément des programmes d'entretien,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State of registry.	i) l'autorité nommée par l'État membre d'immatriculation;
(ii) in the case of commercial air transport, when the Member State of the operator is different from the State of registry, the authority agreed by the above two States prior to the approval of the maintenance programme.	ii) en cas de transport aérien commercial, lorsque l'État membre de l'exploitant est différent de l'État d'immatriculation, l'autorité agréée par les deux États précités avant l'agrément du programme d'entretien.
(iii) By derogation from paragraph 4(i), when the continuing airworthiness of an aircraft not used in commercial air transport is managed by a continuing airworthiness management organisation approved in accordance with Section A, Subpart G of this Annex (Part M) not subject to the oversight of the Member State of registry, and only if agreed with the Member State of registry prior to the approval of the maintenance programme: (added EC No 1056/2008)	iii) Par dérogation au paragraphe 4, point i), lorsque le maintien de la navigabilité d'un aéronef ne participant pas au transport aérien commercial est géré par un organisme de gestion du maintien de la navigabilité agréé conformément à la section A, sous-partie G, de la présente annexe (partie M) non soumis au contrôle de l'État membre d'immatriculation, et seulement si cela est convenu avec l'État membre d'immatriculation avant l'approbation du programme d'entretien:
(a) the authority designated by the Member State responsible for the oversight of the continuing airworthiness management organisation, or	a) l'autorité désignée par l'État membre responsable du contrôle de l'organisme de gestion du maintien de la navigabilité, ou
