For the purpose of this Part, the competent authority shall be:	A efectos de esta parte, la autoridad competente será:
1. for the oversight of the continuing airworthiness of individual aircraft and the issue of airworthiness review certificates the authority designated by the Member State of registry.	1. Para la vigilancia del mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad de aeronaves y para la emisión de certificados de revisión de aeronavegabilidad, la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro de matrícula.
2. for the oversight of a maintenance organisation as specified in M.A. Subpart F,	2. Para la vigilancia de una organización de mantenimiento, tal y como se especifica en la subparte F de M.A.,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State where that organisation's principle place of business is located.	i) la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro en el que se encuentra la sede social de dicha organización,
(ii) the Agency if the organisation is located in a third country.	ii) la Agencia, si la organización tiene su sede en un tercer país.
3. for the oversight of a continuing airworthiness management organisation as specified in M.A. Subpart G,	3. Para la vigilancia de una organización de gestión del mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad, tal y como se especifica en la Subparte G de M.A.,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State where that organisation's principle place of business is located if the approval is not included in an air operator's certificate.	i) la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro en el que se encuentra la sede social de dicha organización, si la aprobación no está incluida en un certificado de operador aéreo,
(ii) the authority designated by the Member State of the operator if the approval is included in an air operator's certificate.	ii) la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro del operador, si la aprobación está incluida en un certificado de operador aéreo,
(iii) the Agency if the organisation is located in a third country.	iii) la Agencia, si la organización tiene su sede social en un tercer país.
4. for the approval of maintenance programmes,	4. Para la aprobación de programas de mantenimiento,
(i) the authority designated by the Member State of registry.	i) la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro de matrícula,
(ii) in the case of commercial air transport, when the Member State of the operator is different from the State of registry, the authority agreed by the above two States prior to the approval of the maintenance programme.	ii) en el caso de transporte aéreo comercial, cuando el Estado miembro del operador sea distinto del Estado de matrícula, la autoridad acordada por ambos Estados antes de la aprobación del programa de mantenimiento.
(iii) By derogation from paragraph 4(i), when the continuing airworthiness of an aircraft not used in commercial air transport is managed by a continuing airworthiness management organisation approved in accordance with Section A, Subpart G of this Annex (Part M) not subject to the oversight of the Member State of registry, and only if agreed with the Member State of registry prior to the approval of the maintenance programme: (added EC No 1056/2008)	iii) No obstante lo dispuesto en el apartado 4, inciso i), cuando el mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad de una aeronave no utilizada en el transporte aéreo comercial esté gestionado por una organización de gestión del mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad aprobada con arreglo al presente anexo (parte M), sección A, subparte G, y que no esté sujeta a la supervisión del Estado miembro de matrícula, y únicamente si así se acordase con dicho Estado miembro antes de la aprobación del programa de mantenimiento:
(a) the authority designated by the Member State responsible for the oversight of the continuing airworthiness management organisation, or	a) la autoridad designada por el Estado miembro responsable de la supervisión de la organización de gestión del mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad, o
(b) the Agency if the continuing airworthiness management organisation is located in a third country.	b) la Agencia, si la organización de gestión del mantenimiento de la aeronavegabilidad está situada en un tercer país.
