EU regulations aircraft owner should know are available from EASA web pages. But these are not the easiest papers to read. Regulations are spread to several locations, you almost have to know them before you can even find them.

For example, if you want to find requirements for maintenance program, you must first locate following seven documents;

-maintenance regulation 2042/2003, read
-amendment to maintenance regulation 707/2006 read
-amendment to maintenance regulation EC376/2007 read
-EASA decision No 2003/19/RM, which has AMC, read
-amendment to previous: No 2006/11/R, read
-amendment to previous: No 2006/14/R, read
-amendment to previous: No 2007/001/R, read
-amendment to maintenance regulation EC1056/2008 read

Original regulation document has no clue of amendments, reader is responsible to know if they exist.

Continuing airworthiness regulation has no clues, if AMC or GM is available for given paragraph. Nor is there clues for appendixes for given paragraph. You have to know that they exist.

Amendments include on the text that has been changed or amendmented, you have to figure it our, how is it integrated to other paragraphs.

To find out, what is required for maintenance program, you have to read those documents from start to finish. Otherwise it is difficult to know, that you have not missed vital information.


This easyEASA site has those regulations and support documents in one package. Material is consolidated and up to date. No deleted paragraphs are present and all new material is inserted where it belongs to. All relevant appendixes, AMC's (GM's) are referred to with active links. Material includes also table of content and index, which make navigation easier.

This site does not include interpretations to paragraphs.

But this site includes proposals for corrections in some locations. Some references in the material are not correct, they refer to paragraphs that do not exists.

When EU or EASA publish new material, it will be added to this site promptly. This is possible, as this material is not legally binding (due to licensing agreement).
